When
many people think of wine, they may also think of food and
music. We tend to think of wine as a major contributor to our
overall ‘lifestyle’… all the things that go into
making our daily lives more enjoyable.
While the Wine Expo works hard to bring you an enjoyable wine and
food experience, we also believe in contributing to the other
elements that contribute to our east-coast lifestyle. In past
years, we have contributed to modern dance, local musicians, the
Capitol Theatre and creative artists in virtually every
genre.
In 2011, your support of the Wine Expo allowed us to
support:
- the Tree of Hope Campaign;
- the George Dumont foundation;
- the Capitol Theater;
- the Frye Festival;
- the East Coast Music Awards;
- the 2012 Canadian Olympic team, and
- Sistema and the NB Youth
Orchestra.
We are
very proud to be able to spread a bit of love in support of the
incredible Sistema program that provides music instruments and
training to many young children that might otherwise be unable to
participate in this unique and highly respected ‘team’
endeavor.
But we couldn’t do any of this without you! Please take
a moment to pat yourself on the back the next time you’re
enjoying a glass of wine. And know that we will continue to
do everything we can to add to our collective enjoyment of life and
lifestyle in our region.
